Brookline Town Election – May 3, 2011

by

Greetings from your neighbors in Precinct 12. We’d like to remind everyone that next Tuesday is our town election day, and that our polling place has temporarily moved from the Runkle School to Brookline High School.

Neighbors Building Brookline is not running a slate this year or making endorsements for Town Meeting. However, there is a contested race for the one-year Town Meeting seat, and in that race many of your Town Meeting Members are supporting Jonathan A. Karon. Jon is a former member of Brookline’s Town Meeting, School Committee, and Advisory Committee, and he has been endorsed by 12 of your current Town Meeting Members, including Michael A. Burstein, Bruce B. Cohen, Jonathan H. Grand, Stefanie A. Greenfield, Casey A. Hatchett, David B. Klafter, Judy Meyers, Michael F. Oates, Thomas A. Reed, A. Joseph Ross, William E. Slotnick, and Donald C. Weitzman.

We’re hoping to have a candidate statement posted from Jonathan A. Karon later today.
